⚫️A meeting was held under the leadership of Akbar Niyozov, Deputy Governor of Navoi Region, with the participation of representatives of relevant organizations within the framework of ensuring the implementation of Resolution No. PQ-58 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 11, 2026.

⚫️The meeting was attended by Shavkat Norqulov, Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Transport, Umidulla Abdurazzoqov, PhD and representative of the Transport University, Nazirbek Raxmanov, Mayor of Zarafshan city, Ozod Shodiyev, Head of the Regional Department of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, and Bektosh Raximov, Head of the Regional Transport Department.

⚫️During the meeting, issues related to organizing affordable and high-quality public transport services in Zarafshan city and forming a convenient transport system for the population were comprehensively discussed.

⚫️In particular, proposals were reviewed regarding the purchase of buses and minibuses, reconsideration of public transport routes, and the development of a mathematical transport model of the city.

⚫️Agreements were also reached on introducing scientifically based approaches by involving specialists from the Transport University and foreign experts in the process of developing the transport model.

⚫️At the end of the meeting, specific measures were defined to ensure the implementation of the resolution and to gradually introduce a modern and efficient public transport system in Zarafshan city.
