The following information is provided regarding the opinions expressed about restoring certain bus routes in the city of Navoi.

   In accordance with Resolution No. PQ-59 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the public transport system in the center of Navoi region has been optimized, 5 urban bus routes have been established on the basis of gross contracts, and regular services have been launched.

   These routes have been designed based on the principles of full coverage of the city area, efficient distribution of traffic flows, and minimization of route duplication. Therefore, it is not considered appropriate to fully restore some of the previously existing routes.

   Transport connections between the areas mentioned in the appeal are ensured through the existing routes. In particular, it is possible to reach destinations via transfer points between route ShI-2 “Navoiyazot JSC – Sharq bus station” and route ShI-1 “Eye Diseases Hospital – Sputnik settlement”.

   In addition, according to the decision of the governor of Navoi region dated June 22, 2024 (No. 171-5-0-Q/24), preferential tariffs have been introduced for using multiple buses within one hour through the electronic payment system. This makes transfers between routes economically more convenient.

   In this regard, the existing transport network has been sufficiently developed to meet the needs of the population, and work to improve its efficiency is ongoing.
